The name ‘Maison de la Place’ refers to the address and ‘Les Tournesols’ and ‘Les Oliviers’ the name of the apartment for rent. The apartment has a stated maximum sleeping capacity. The number of occupants including any guests should not exceed this.
Reservation is subject to contract with payment in advance.
For risk of fire and consideration to other guests, under no circumstances is smoking allowed inside the property.
A refundable security deposit of €300 Euros is required for each reservation made in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the client’s liability to the owner. The owner will account to the client for the security deposit and refund the balance due, within two weeks, after the end of the rental period.
Arrival and Departure
Your tenancy commences at 4.00pm on the first day and ends at 10.30am on the last day of the rental period. Please ask if you wish to arrange other times. All stated times are local time.
The individual who signs the booking form shall be responsible for payment of the holiday in full. We will remind you when the balance is due. If we do not receive full payment by the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. We will then levy a cancellation charge according to the charges laid out below. If you have to cancel your holiday at any time after the contract has taken effect you must do so in writing. You will incur charges based on the total cost of the booking on a scale related to the period of notice given – see below:

Transfer of Booking
If you are prevented from holidaying you may transfer your booking to another person. You must transfer your booking by giving notice to the owners in writing of your intention to do this, with full details of the transferee party.
Alterations by you
If you wish to change your holiday arrangements and you have paid either a deposit or the full amount, we will do all we reasonably can to accommodate your new requirements. Any change that results in a reduction in the total amount of holiday accommodation will be treated as a cancellation of that part of the booking.
If you require a cot, high chair, or any additional special requirements please let us know at time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. There is a small additional charge for cot and high chair, and beach towel hire.
Your Accommodation and Safety
You undertake to take responsibility and exercise reasonable care in respect of your accommodation and its equipment. We remind you of your duty of care for your own and other members of your party’s safety while you are away.
Cancellation by us
Cancellation by us would be very rare and can only be envisaged due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not avoid, for example civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disaster, level of water in rivers, seriously adverse weather conditions, flooding or similar events beyond our control. In such a situation we do not accept any liability for any compensation but will of course refund monies already paid by you.
Care of your apartment
You agree to make every effort to leave the property as you found it and exercise a responsibility of reasonable care for the building its contents. On departure should the condition of the property be in a state that may reasonably be judged unacceptable then this will be considered damage and a portion or the whole security deposit may be retained.
Under no circumstances shall the owners’ liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
It is our aim that you be completely satisfied. If you should find anything with which you are not happy after the start of your holiday this should be reported to the owners immediately. He/She will endeavour to rectify the situation as soon as is reasonably practical.
You agree not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to others in the property or neighbouring properties.
We are covered by the legal requirements in France regarding public use of private property but we cannot accept responsibility for loss or theft of personal belongings from your apartment.
